Nursing Education
Purpose: To provide an internet site for nursing students to access trainee requirements based on the Atlanta VAMC & Veterans Health Administration Office of Academic Affiliations policies. Students will be able to download forms, read help file, and refer to a calendar and information updates.
Security
The Atlanta VAMC has a Police Service, located on the ground floor of the medical center, room GA200. Our officers provide 24-hour patrols of the facility and parking lots. For general police assistance, please dial 7641. In case of an emergency, dial 4911. Report all suspicious or criminal activity, vehicle accidents, and personal property losses to the VA Police while on the facility grounds as soon as possible.
Because the VA Medical Center is federal property, all persons and bags are subject to search. In addition, no weapons, alcohol, or illegal drugs are permitted.
