Free parking and shuttle service is available to all Atlanta VAMC patients and visitors.
The Atlanta VAMC has a Police Service, located on the ground floor of the medical center, room GA200. Our officers provide 24-hour patrols of the facility and parking lots. For general police assistance, please dial 7641. In case of an emergency, dial 4911. Report all suspicious or criminal activity, vehicle accidents, and personal property losses to the VA Police while on the facility grounds as soon as possible.
Because the VA Medical Center is federal property, all persons and bags are subject to search. In addition, no weapons, alcohol, or illegal drugs are permitted.

Free Parking spaces available for patients at our off-site location
A shuttle service will provide transportation for patients, visitors and staff to and from the Medical Center. The van, marked Briarcliff/VAMC, departs from 3065 Briarcliff Road (Briarcliff Baptist Church) starting @ 6 am Monday through Friday (15-minute increments) in route to the VAMC's South Entrance/Community Living Center. The vehicle returns to the Briarcliff location every 15 minutes until 6 pm.
Directions to parking from I-85N/S
Exit the highway at Clairmont Road. Make the turn left or right going toward the Medical Center. Drive to Briarcliff Road. Turn right on Briarcliff and left at the first traffic light into the parking lot. Security is available. Employees may use any spaces unoccupied by patients.

In order to continue to meet the needs of our Veterans, family and staff, the Atlanta VA Medical Center is proud to announce that the OWL Shuttle Service between the main medical campus and the Atlanta Clinic (250 N Arcadia Ave, Decatur, GA 30030) has extended its hours of operation. The free service will now every 15 minutes from 6 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday through Friday.

The van, marked Briarcliff/VAMC, departs from 3065 Briarcliff Road (Briarcliff Baptist Church) every 15 minutes from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Friday.
